Terms & Conditions (aka: Shipping Times and Such)
Everything is made in-house here at My Darling Bee with the exception being blank shirts. It's designed, cut, sewn, embroidered, decorated, etc by OUR HANDS, so it does take more time than pre-manufactured clothing! It's worth the wait....we PROMISE :)
We are currently operating on a 2-4 week turn around on most items (see our store banner for more up-to-date shipping times). Some outfits are MUCH MORE time consuming and any longer turn around time will be prominently written in the product description! ALWAYS give us your departure or wear date so we can be as prepared as possible in case of an emergency!
Ready to ship items will ship in 2-3 business days, unless bought along with made to order item. Then, all items will ship together in approximately 2-4 weeks. If you wish to separate shipping and receive the ready to ship item first, please email us and we will invoice you shipping charges and pop you in the mail! Weather, injury, or sickness (ie: things out of our human control) could affect these shipping times. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for questions about your shipment.
We ship everything USPS, so you will typically receive an order in 3-5 business days after it has been completed and picked up from our shop.We were informed by the USPS that tracking information can take 24-48 hours to update in their system. Once an order has left our hands, you will need to contact USPS Customer service: 1 (800) 275-8777 directly for any shipping concerns. Once it is out of our shop, we have no control over how they carry out their responsibility of delivering it to you. As much as I wish we could control the weather, how often they scan your package, post office processes, the carrier handling your items, how it gets put on the delivery truck, etc..we can't and get laughed at by the USPS when we try :(
**If you wish to add insurance to your package for the amount of your purchase or have your package shipped with a differen-t carrier, please contact us before you place your order and we will be more than glad to add the extra security to your shipping cost. If you forget, call us right away! We may still be able to help!!!**
Intellectual Property Policy
My Darling Bee, LLC, nor any of the members or employees therein, do not claim ownership of any characters or words related to them found on our designs. Our fees only cover the time spent customizing and decorating them. Said entities listed in this statement above, nor individuals, do not hold copyrights. All copyright belongs to owners of characters.
Our boutique clothing is made with a little extra room to grow (except slim leg items), so ordering up usually isn't necessary on most items! Always contact us if you would like a little extra guidance.
Most everything we produce is made by hand and true to the pattern. We recommend that you refer to our size chart (listed on each product page) before ordering! Feel free to send your child's waist and inseam measurements for us to use for tailoring. Also FB message or email us for guidance.
We use three companies for our blanks based on quality and fit. One company offers even sizes, however due to their fit, they recommend a 4 for a 3T/4T, a 6 for a 5/6, an 8 for a 7/8. We offer onesies and ruffle shirts for size 3-6 months. Depending upon availability, either will be sent. If this shirt is used for your outfit, normally with colored shirts, the recommended size will be selected for you unless you contact us with further instruction.
Icings and ruffled leggings are typically not made onsite. If we do offer custom leggings, "handmade" will be in the product description!
We do offer several expedited shipping options. If you need any of them, please add it to your cart at checkout and contact us with ANY QUESTIONS prior to completing your purchase or to discuss details of your date. Please note that this option is non-refundable.Refunds/ Exchanges/Cancellations
We strive for excellent customer service and happy customers! If you have questions about an order, feel free to FB message or email us at email@example.com any time! You must check your order upon receipt for any concerns and report those concerns within 3 (THREE) days of delivery. If the garment is worn, we will not issue store credits or replacements. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on personalized items. We will gladly issue store credit for non-personalized items. In order to issue a store credit, we must have proof of tracking and movement of the package within the USPS tracking system. We utilize the USPS for returns. If the return was prompted due to an error on our behalf, we will refund the cost of return through the USPS. However, if you choose to return the product via another carrier (FedEx, UPS, DHL) we will refund the shipping costs equivalent to USPS shipping rates.
Once an order is placed, you have up to 5 business days to cancel your order to avoid the 25% restocking fee. Once your order has undergone the cutting process, and you wish to cancel an order, the 25% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund.
We do NOT offer refunds or exchanges for items on sale or clearance.
